Survey on the acceptance of foreigners with specific skills in the shipbuilding and marine industry fields
Investigate how non-designated foreigners are accepted in the shipbuilding and marine industry fields, and what their business contents, treatment, and working styles are. Specifically, we conducted telephone hearings, visits to each business operator, and field surveys. At the same time, we also conducted an interview survey on what kind of career the business operator expects from foreigners with specific skills and how they plan to develop them in the future.
The results of these interviews were summarized and reported to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The results of this report will be used to improve the system for accepting foreigners in this field in the future.
In addition, we picked up the companies that are carrying out particularly good acceptance among the interviews. In the form of a collection of excellent cases, we have formulated the “Guidebook for Accepting Non-Specified Foreigners in the Shipbuilding and Marine Industry Fields”. Currently, this guide is distributed to each business operator and can also be downloaded from the official website of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
